Easter amongst the vines

Updated: May 9, 2023

For most of us, the approaching Bank Holiday provides a rare long weekend to escape from our everyday routine and celebrate the arrival of spring with our friends, family, or loved ones. If the weather is great, following the crowds to the coast may be an obvious choice, however, if you fancy a quieter pace of life this Easter, then an inland excursion into the lush valleys of Devon might be just what you need...

Something new for you to try...

Situated on the sunny south-facing slopes of South Hams are acres and acres of vineyards and orchards to explore. There won't be any fruit to taste yet, but there is always plenty to wildlife to see and lots to learn from one of our knowledgeable guides or our self-guided App, as you meander around the estate.

We began planting our first parcel of land in 2012 and now have a massive twenty-three acres bursting with spring growth, making our estate one of the largest in the area to make our own wines. Unlike most large vineyards, we are involved in all areas of our winemaking process, from handpicking the grapes to bottling and labelling our wines to ensure that we produce the finest quality sparkling and still white, red, and rosé wines from our healthy vines.

Take it easy...

As soon as you turn off into our private drive, you'll be on Devon time, so there's no need to hurry anywhere else as we have everything you need all in one location. After a tour of our growing areas, venture inside and sample our goodies before digging into a tasty lunch prepared with our home-grown seasonal veg. And if you are planning a visit this Easter Sunday, you'll be in for a fantastic treat, as our Menu du Dimanche will be available for the first time ever!

Don't forget to book your activities in advance as we wouldn't like you to go home disappointed!
