We are just under two weeks until the start of English Wine Week, a big week for all the wine producers in the Southwest and beyond. Designed to bring English Wine to the forefront of the nation's consciousness, the week celebrates big and small producers as well as their wide variety of wines. The scheme will be supported by onsite retail outlets, supermarkets, market stalls, hotels, and pubs, all promoting the quality of English Wine. Exploring the vineyard
You can explore our vineyards, blackcurrant fields, orchards, and winery from Wednesday to Sunday and learn firsthand how we produce our delicious Devon wines, Cyders and Cassis. Our specially developed smartphone app. provides an informative video and commentary for those who would like to roam free through the vineyards and orchards of the Estate. And if you want to leave your devices turned off we have a fully annotated map to guide you to our special vistas and favourite corners of the Estate.
Sampling what we offer
We also invite you to our Cellar Door Restaurant for a tasting of our Estate Wines, Cyders, and Cassis along with a collection of small plates. An English cheese platter and charcuterie platter are included in the Grand Tour. And our Grand Afternoon Sparkling Tour includes a Cream Tea after a leisurely stroll through our vineyard and winery where you will learn how we make sparkling wines similar to champagne. A tasting of three of our sparkling wines follows, along with scones, clotted cream, and jam...but don't forget to do it the Devon way - cream first!
